Making Sense (2024)

Making Sense
(2024) explores social boundaries and somatic agency through public and private spaces. In the form of palm-size “conversation” cards, Making Sense invites individuals to explore and discover their own bodily capacities and potentials a series of sensing and moving prompts - some drawing from domains of dance and theater, others from the interrior of my own imagination.

Each card focuses on a particular sensation and mode of movement, enacted alone or with others, to be passed along to someone, or forgotten in a coat pocket. The intention behind/beside/beyond these cards was to subtly invite agency into how we move through and make sense of the world.
