Notes on Healing (2024)

Notes on Healing is an emerging video essay exploring practices and processes of healing through an eco-somatic screen and improvised choreographic scores, while exploring the technological mediation of video as a form of observation and reflection in the Great Plains. In this, I attend to my own experiences of healing: from absence, from addiction, visiting sites across various Great Plains ecologies, sensing, moving, and feeling my way through, and recording insights and inquiries as a form of research-based art.
